Dashlane for Mac

It's back!!! I was disappointed when Dashlane went to an all-online format, and as others have mentioned, only supported certain browsers. That didn't mean I couldn't use it, but I like the ability to keep the app open instead of having to "open web app" every time I needed to adjust something. This is still the best password management software available, in my opinion. Runs on PCs as well as Macs (the browser plugin works regardless of OS, so I can use it on my Linux boxes). I'm delighted they've brought back the desktop app, and it looks fresh and appears to work as expected.

I Love Dashlane,it does everything I want it to BUT it has changed from the product I originally order, i.e. a Mac app that I could keep open any time I wanted it. The developers then, without a "by your leave" trashed the app idea and forced users to use the app as a browser extension. Not only that but only on the browsers that they dictated. so users of other browsers can't install the extension either. Now the app is about to be killed. So for me I feel that what I originally purchased is not what I currently have. I have the app on my iPhone which helps but I still feel cheated because I can't have my Mac app back. I will continue to use my cobbled product but am actively looking for an "as good as" app. Shame Dashlane. Listen to your customers.

Does Dashlane allow entry of the master password with touch id?

Its good but the instructions for use don't always work for some essential albeit rare functions (like updating the master password after I was Phished for security reasons). If it allowed me to enter addresses as well (so it doubles as an address book where I could store everything) it would be perfect.

Works fine for me although I still use Contacts as well, it does things Dashlane doesn't. I need something that combines both of them.
